  1. Don’t drink lots of caffeine or sugar before bed. Coffee is the drug of choice these days for many with long days and continually more demanding evenings, and people are coping by drinking lots of coffee and high sugar drinks later at night. Stimulants before we call it a night make for a not so recuperative and restlessness night, affecting our sensitive eye skin tremendously.

Power naps during the day can help to reduce stress and interrupt the constant state of anxiety many of our lives our filled with, helping us to relax and our bodies to catch up to our demands.
  3. Check your mattress and pillow! Although obvious, many people overlook their zZz equipment, and old, beaten down and uncomfortable beds and pillows is the foundation for a good day tomorrow. Ask yourself, is my pillow and mattress doing its job correctly? Or should I finally replace this stuff that my grandparents would even laugh at.
  4. For people with intense insomnia, see a physician and look into over the counter sleep medication. Although not necessary for most, intense insomnia usually required a little more attention and care, with a diagnoses from a qualified person, see what your options are in this area.
