As a follow up to my older post ‘home remedies for dark circles under your eyes’ I have collected a few more popular and re-occurring suggestions as to some good good natural, easy, and free home remedy solutions.

I have not personally tried these, nor do I guarantee that they work (it would be most dependent on the seriousness, darkness, and root cause of your situation) so don’t take these as the end all be all of getting rid of our annoying puffy and dark bag problems, now will I be offering a money back guarantee that applying various vegetables to your face will indeed make you into a beautiful princess! :P

5 Cool and whacky home remedies from around the internet:

  1. Gently massage and tap the dark circle in question regularly and for 5 minutes at times through-out the day. This induces fluid draining and movement, encouraging the removal of dark circles under our eyes due to to factors pertaining to nutrient uptake, circulation and hydration
  2. Gently and carefully massage and knead almond oil directly into the area and spot you’re looking for an improvement
  3. Use alternating application of hot and cold temperature objects onto the area to increase and encourage nutrient, hydration, and circulation benefits. Do not use extremely cold object such as ice or extremely hot temperatures for more then a couple of seconds at a time
  4. Directly applicate lemon and/or lemon juice on the black bags under your eyes several times throughout the course of the day
  5. Place a banana peel temporarily to cool it to an almost freezing state, let sit and thaw for a couple of minutes, apply directly to puffy or dark-circle ridden eye zone
  6. Rub Preparation-H gently and generously into more blackened and darkened circles. Let sit until absorption stops, wipe and enjoy. (Be careful not to get this stuff in or too close to your eyes / eyelids!)

I do not take credit, nor do I take credibility for these home remedy suggestions that popularly occurred throughout the internet. Be mindful to practice common sense and don’t expect amazing results with said wacky and neat home treatment suggestions, and don’t yell at me if a banana peel on your face didn’t make you look like Britney Spears (when she was still young and hip!)
